Author Topic: I'm having four wisdom teeth removed in the morning  (Read 938 times)

Well that was interesting

Mine are coming in early so I'll have to get them out within the year

I must have gotten my wisdom teeth in super early because I thought Bones and Trey were both older than me

Give a camera to your mom and tell her to film what you do while you're high.

I remember being high on morphine [getting crowns at 4 years old] and it looked like my grandma had a third eye on her forehead.

Are they painful?

It's not a requirement for you to get them removed.
Some people find they come in perfectly fine and fit comfortably.
There's no need to get them removed without reason.

I'm not really sure what age they're supposed to start coming in, so I don't know if I'm late or not.

First started noticing them about back in September, I think. So I was 17 at most when they started to grow.

They aren't in place yet though.
I can feel two of them, both being on the top row. Slightly above and behind the last tooth, slowly pushing their way out.
No pain with them though, and they seem to be moving into a good position. Hopefully I won't have trouble with them.

I've not felt anything of the bottom row, however.
Hopefully they'll appear in time (or not at all).
Wouldn't want them to start to grow in impacted, but that can happen.

If you want to know the horrible damage they can cause, just read their Wikipedia page.

Awfully horrible pieces of anatomy. Unneeded and painful.

Anyway, best of luck with your operation, Bones.
I can only assume that you're having it done because they're painful already.

Atleast it'll mean the pain of them will be gone, once the pain of the surgery subsides.

I'm 16 and mine are already fully developed :(

That does sound early.
Wikipedia quotes them coming in at 16-25 years of age.

Suppose it's entirely pot luck as to when someone's come in.

Do you have to get your wisdom teeth removed? I like mine the way they are.

As long as they don't mess up your other teeth then you can keep them.

You still have time. Do it now.

ask your dad to remove them with a pair of pliers, works wonders
