ehh homeschooling doesnt make you an outcast, at least if you know other homeschoolers, but im friends with a couple public schoolers.
plus... alot of people in public school can be raised well by parents, but sending them to a place for 8 hours a day with kids who arent raised as well degrades them.

 throwing a clean apple in a barrel wont make them clean, it'll turn rotten too...

My schoolday was 6 hours. I'm glad I went to school because I made friends who I talk to and it made the day go by faster.

I find it absolutely ridiculous.

That's because it's cumbersome to drop what you're doing and talk to someone with your mouth. It's much more convenient.

i'm friends with someone who's homeschooled. he goes to every social event (football games, dances, band performances, etc.) just to get out of the house and talk to people. he's really nice though.

One of my freshman friends was home schooled his entire life until this year. He's very social, nothing wrong with him. Then again, it depends on the environment you were schooled in.

Though when you learn that you're always right even when you know nothing about the subject, you tend to be a little arrogant moron I guess...

The benefits are (for those with thick skulls and small brains):

• No 8 hour days
• Wake up whenever
• Computer all day erry day
• More learning/ability to work on more difficult things so you learn them instead of being left behind
• Yale, Harvard and other big-name colleges want you to go to their campuses
• No high-school drama BS, fake friends, or anything of the ilk
• You're not fed biased crap from every faucet imaginable

You still have plenty of friends unless you do something wrong (be a richard to everybody?). Homeschooling does not limit your social skills at all unless you choose to be limited.

Because parents are the definition of unbiased. At least at a public school you get bias from both sides.
