I live like 10 minutes from school on my bike and 20 minutes walking, so it depends on my schedule if I walk or use my bike. Usually when I start at 9AM I use my bike, but if I start at for example 10:45AM I walk. It's nice and refreshing to walk and I like how my neighborhood looks. It also gives me time to listen to for example a podcast without getting distracted by other things.

Yeah same. I love rain, thunder, fog, etc. Snow however gets old quickly.

Personally, I ride my bike to my bus stop. It's a 2.2 mile's away, so I'd rather not walk. I leave to house at 6 AM and the bus leaves at 6:30 AM. I get there around 6:25. Many kids ride long boards to the school/bus stop. My school has ~190-200 kids.
