Cool you should get minecraft for Raspberry Pi and you can 'hack' it with Python if you know it.

My brother has one, maybe if he's not using it I should get it off him for pretty cheap.

I think it would be neat to use a raspberry pi as like a central music player in a house that you could connect to through the wi-fi and just have any song you want to be played wherever you go, controlled by your phone.

Or as like some sort of effects processor hooked up to a midi controller for a guitar like Matt Bellamy from Muse's kaoss pad guitar (@2:54)
