Walls are about 5-6 high on the 1st floor, but I think there will be a balcony somewhere idk. The materials vary. So far Im putting all wood, but I'll add some stone and other stuff in too.

I've probably done a couple of other doodles in places, but this is the only one I have on hand.
Was playing a game without 2 friends, where we were making seperate colonies and going to trade specific resources (I had foodstuff, like wheat. Another had Chicken and Stone I think. Another had Wood and Wool).

Anyway, I suppose I got more into it than the others and really wanted to design my thing, which was set between two small islets.

Words are probably pretty bad to read. Let me translate, from top to bottom, left to right.
Cane, Wheat, Cane
Bedroom (Middle section)
Study, Glass Window, Storage/Work - Furnace
Fence
Stone

I did build it.
Might be able to get a picture of it later.

I don't really do outlines, but sometimes I make maps that I transfer onto MC.

I made a really good city once out of villager houses, but i lost it.

Thanks! The silver is just completing the circle thing just for more reference points.

Also, what material should I use for a roof? Im thinking maybe Spruce Wood (not planks).

Spruce wood gels really nicely with a stone structure. For roofing, the roof would have to be flat so as not to expose the ugly inside of the log.

Naw. Ima make a nice roof out of the spruce and not have it be flat. just to be a rebel

Spruce looks absolutely magnificent when checkered with sandstone for flooring

oo. Thats helpful! Now I need to find some sand stone.

EDIT: Just realized you can craft sandstone!

Bump / Any other flooring or roofing tips? Furniture tips would be nice too. This is my 1st large-scale house.

my first house was just a wood plank house with a fortress wall around it

i was getting pissed off trying to rebuild it from mob attacks, lol
