Author Topic: 2 Teams; 1 Weapon(V2!)  (Read 654 times)

What is this?
2 Teams 1 Weapon is a minigame i thought of, as the title suggests, there are 2 teams on each side, but both teams use the same weapon! Simple!
Is this finished?
This is a mere beta, this is V1, the map or concept may change

Simplicity is the best way to go.

Could use some work in the spawning zones, but overall I think it's a nice idea!

Am I overthinking this? It sounds like it's basically just a plain TDM where everyone uses a gun

wait so everyone gets a gun or there is only one gun

everyone gets a gun

Yeah, except the gun changes periodically

Now that adds a little more flavour.

this would be interesting, but you're going to need to make it fast paced to keep players interested. A large-scale walk-places map wouldn't work well with single weapon loadouts but if you kept things to like some midair DM-style TDM, matches would be fast paced enough to have players cycle through different weapons quickly enough to make each match different.

I suggest you to mix up weapons from different packs, like medieval weapons, snipers, shotguns, pistols, knives, RC car, sentries, etc. Try to make each weapon used different from each other in terms of skill necessary to use them well. Like, have only one sniper, one shotgun, one pistol, and mix up raycast and projectile weapons so its not just one or the other. put in novelty weapons as well since this kind of dm is practically the only one appropriate for them.

Looks cool. Why don't you use the Quake-type player for it?

Will do, thanks for the suggestion!
