ventriloquist can cause absolute havoc and make people kill people
abductor can easily sneakishly kill the cops and fingerprinter or any inno that knows too much whilst on the roof!
godfather can not be thought of as suspicious from an investigation, and can command his maf buds to follow his orders
crazy has a knife he can only use on downstairs bodies and it makes a noise sometimes
I've actually killed ten people on the roof as a Crazy only using the knife.
It's very easy and no one was able to identify who I killed. I had killed the cop, the fingerprinter, the paranoid cop and seven other innocents.
No one knew.

Question: how hard is the whole "setting up" thing? I'm interested in hosting it but I'm afraid it'd be a pain to work without it breaking or me forgetting to do something.

Also, my favorite role to play is ventriloquist (though i usually just "KOS!!" people so i suck at it), but the one i'm best at is abductor.

three console commands

What exact console commands? []----[] only said the AfterlifeLoc one in the OP, and I found out DumpsterLoc while scrolling through code.

replace "afterlife" with "arena" and "dumpster"

replace "afterlife" with "arena" and "dumpster"
arena is a bit different iirc

I put that in wrong...

Two extremely abusive commands were found.
"MMROLELIST": Tells people who is who. Any admin can just say /mmrolelist and figure out who's the mafia then kill them on sight.
"MMKILLLIST": Tells who's been killed and who killed them. Also abusive as it tells them their roles as well.

He must have put those in by accident!

Those aren't abusive. Get better admins. Brackets had admins who he could trust to use those commands. The admins are supposed to moderate the game making sure someone doesn't go around randomly murdering everyone.

If you can't trust your admins to not use those commands and kill the maf you need better admins.

thanks for those commands, now i can organize rdms better with logs of the kills and roles..!

Those are not abusive at all.

Cuddles, you're a moron. These are used to tell whether or not people are lying, and to monitor things from a particular vantage point.
I can see why you might find these abusive, but that's because forgeters other than []----[] would do that. We would normally just use these for administrative and organizational purposes.
How is that loving abusive?
Also, I don't think /mmrolelist works for just any admin?
Does it?

Those administrative tools, just like redruls.

I've brainstormed some ideas I think are pretty solid. Many ideas are based on previously discussed ideas that have not yet been implemented. Posted them on tumblr for personal use, and planned to talk about them with []. However, as I thought they were interesting, I wanted to share them here too! Please don't go about making these without asking me, though.

  • Delusional: Inno set by a mafia member, most likely godfather, to believe they have a particular role. (issue: by the start of the game, innos are already given their roles.)

  • Medic/Doctor: Capable of saving those struck by more slow-acting bullets. (such bullets would likely be faster rate of fire. theory {i.e. not implemented yet}: being hit with multiple bullets does not cause instant death. it has no further effect. {alternative: being hit with a bullet causes invulnerability for a second or two} {issue: they might as well be dead, so i suggest being hit by multiple bullets does not cause instant death})

  • Detective: Capable of detecting whether an individual has credentials that don’t match reality. Information received is nonspecific, one of two responses that cover all different types of falsities. (Miller, Delusional, Paranoid Cop vs Non-Paranoid Cop, Godfather (?) ) (mafia are registered as credentials matching up except for godfather (?)) (Player’s credentials all match up.) (Player’s credentials don’t match up!)

  • Ballistics Expert: Capable of recording the weapon inventories of individuals with their weapons drawn into an accessible-by-slash-command list. Can brown townyze dead bodies that are not mutilated (by a Crazy) and determine what type of weapon was used on said body. (experimental idea: Spawns with all weapon types.) Able to trade weapons with other players. This affects the recorded inventories list. (probably doesn’t add knives to list, as brown townysis ability isn’t night-only and/or singular use.) (actually, changed mind. players with knives rarely take them out, so it might be interesting to see ballistics experts take advantage of this.)

  • Demon: Mafia member that can determine, at night, the role of an investigated inno. Useful for taking down the Assassin.

  • Assassin: Spawns without any gun. Spawns with knife, just like Crazy. Knife does not perform in the same way as the Crazy, who can mutilate bodies. (experimental idea: at night, lacks all sounds whatsoever. perhaps even ability to become invisible for temporary amounts of time. perhaps increased speed.) Able to speak to Cop through anonymous messages from any distance. Only able to do this at night. Able to hear every message sent by the cop, even whispers, no matter the distance. (experimental idea: upon full-charged knife, assassin can be launched at high speeds (nonlethal of course) in the direction of the crosshair of the assassin, perhaps only when there is a target in sight.)

  • Anti-Foul-Play System of Reputation: All players have a record that anyone can access that details how many teammates they’ve killed and how many opponents they’ve killed. perhaps notated as “innos killed as inno. innos killed as maf. mafs killed as inno. mafs killed as maf.” high friendly fire statistics would indicate a lack of trustworthiness, and a system would be implemented that could allow players to prevent such people from joining or to kick such people. perhaps an automatic system that kicks people with high ratios or numerical values or perhaps frequencies of friendly kills within periods of time. bans either in the same manner or through repeated kick offenses.

  • Additive Concept for Crazy: upon mutilating a corpse, Crazy can add the victim’s appearance to an inventory of “appearances” accessible to the Crazy. The Crazy can select one of the appearance through slash command. Then, with the right mouse button can deposit this appearance on another player or a corpse. The player is then transformed to have that particular appearance, and at daytime has that particular name. Corpses are transformed to have all corresponding information from that captured appearance. Fingerprints do not cross over. Crazy can use a slash command to apply certain appearances to themselves, which would cause the Crazy’s own appearance to be dropped into their appearance inventory.

  • Additive Concept for Crazy: to balance with the Assassin/to prevent instant proof that the Crazy is not the Assassin, Crazy’s own ability to launch at crosshair with knife at night and ability to lack sound at night. Debatable considering how powerful this would make the Crazy. However, it would not reduce the power of the Assassin exactly, just possibly overpower the Crazy, so still considerable.

  • Additive Concept for Godfather: The powers of every mafia member that dies gets transferred to the Godfather. If all mafia are killed before the Godfather, the Godfather has all mafia powers.

  • Additive Concept for Abductor: Through slash command, Abductor can change ability at night to abduct one inno per night by right click to removal of the voice of one inno per night by right click for one night and one day.

  • Misc Inno Ability for Consideration: One use per night, ability to scramble, disable, or make utterly unreliable for one night/day the abilities of any individual, maf or inno. Would provide a way to thwart possible threats without murder. Possible idea for all vanilla innos to use.
