That's also been done before. Batman: Arkham Asylum did it back in 2009 and it was first recorded in 2006, I believe. If they want to say next generation technology, they better show something that hasn't been done before. Everything they mentioned has been done for years, there's no innovation here. Look at Wind Waker, it was released in 2002 and it had innovations that didn't became standard until 2007.

They could show the actual realistic damage enemy gunfire causes your character, each bullet and explosion adding damage in ways that med-kits cant completely recover, each impact causing your character a scar. that would be slightly impressive.. and if that has been done before, then i need to get out from under the rock i have been hiding under.

It been done in 2004 with Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

What's funny is that the guy went on and on over how you have interactive tv, but it's just a ripoff of nintendo tvii.

so imagine if you're sitting there, playing at a tournament
everyone is watching you
you're doing amazing
someone decides to yell "Xbox OFF"...

I doubt that would simply turn off when a game is running. However, I'm sure it'd pick up the wrong combination of words to do stupid stuff.

and people want this stuff for video games?

pc gaming master race

I'm fine with the Kinect coming with the xbox, that might drive more developers to come up with cool things for it, especially now that it can pick up finger movements. But why the hell does it always need to be plugged in, and if it does charge for the amount of people in the room, that is ridiculously unfair for people who have the xbox in their living room, and will have people walking infront of it, or sitting on the couch, and will get charged extra for it.

Don't worry, Microsoft just thought instead of giving up they'd go down fighting. :nes:

I'm a very paranoid person, and so if I can't make it so that my Kinect sees absolutely nothing at all, I'll just put a piece of duct tape over the sensor when I'm not using it.

I think that idea's been discussed, in which case the sensor will know due to the lack of movement or something
