though the game would be deserted, single player would still be fun

I honestly dont think we have a future. The amount of active players we have, considering the game has been launched six years ago is really low. Another thing is our rate and quality of releases/development, its true the game doesn't really need updates besides network/engine updates because the game is based around add-ons and has no set goal, but the recent bug fixes we have received are really minor.

While I don't think Blockland will completely disappear from the face of the internet, I feel that it will (slowly) die off unless more players become part of the community.

i don't see how the forums would be linked to the game's population, as many players don't even know about the blockland community forum, and oddly (or not) enough, vice versa. iunno.
