Author Topic: How is this recording quality?  (Read 2924 times)

So, I recorded myself playing a game and uploaded it to Youtube. Can you guys let me know if it looks alright or if there's an even better recorder. I'm using DeSmuME's internal recorder with the Microsoft Video 1 encoding format set to the highest quality.

takes up like 1/4 of the screen, 360p, absolute stuff if you ask me

takes up like 1/4 of the screen
Would you rather it be rotated 90 degrees so that it takes up the whole screen?

Dumbstuff.

I just want to warn you, my internet is horrible and the DS screen resolution is strange.

Well, actually, you could take the top screen and put if on the left and the bottom screen to the right.
Next time, think before you post, or if you still can't comprehend a logical solution, ask someone.

Then don't record games, don't ask for feedback then come up with excuses.

I'm not coming up with excuses, I'm just warning you about my limitations. But, the left/right screen is a good idea.

Stop loving with the computer for an hour while it uploads in 720p then, that is an excuse.

If you want to record gaming for people, don't expect them to watch a hard as forget to see screen with stuffty resolution; that's what I'm saying.

I understand, but I'm not making excuses. Jeez.

Will you stop picking fights for no reason other than to show how "cool" and "expert" you are? Jesus Christ.

Alright, it's just you seem like you're mad at me. Sorry if it's coming across as an excuse, I'm just letting you know what I did and what my limitations are.

Wasn't picking a fight, he asked for advice and feedback, I'm simply doing that.

Chill.

That's why I suggested what I did, try to make that screen idea work, and leave the computer alone while it uploads in 720p and I might actually enjoy watching a few of these

Dunno about you guys but even watching that in fullscreen, it still looked fine.
The only thing I would suggest, would be what yola suggested

Alright, but how do I record in 720p? I recorded in the best quality possible in my emulator, uploaded the video for like 6 hours, and I'm still getting 360p. Any reason why it doesn't work?
