I have a Trekstor Pocket G.U. 500GB and for whatever reason it shows up as 2 partitions, 1 being 1GB and another being 12MB, I don't get it. I've formatted it to try to fix it but it was to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

did you buy it from china and it's actually a flash drive taped inside a case with weights?

The other space might be unallocated, you can try using Paragon disk manager to merge the partitions and resize them to use all of the unallocated space.

Any partition manager should work. Try using Computer Management before you install something third-party.
Does the disk come up as ~491GB under the MBR?
