The strangest thing is that every time I try and start up blockland, it comes up with an error report thing. My guess is that I may either have an incompatible video card or I don't have direct x 9; any help here?

Can you post exactly what the error report thing says?

It says "Blockland.exe has caused an error and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience"

reinstall and see what happens, make sure you delete your blockland folder
