Reports and scientific journals suddenly look 200% more awesome if you write them in LaTeX, even if the content is stuff :P It can be a bit tedious compared to Office Word, but it will save you from a lot of hassle in the long run. I hate when Word makes my tables and graphs jump around like a bunch of horny rabbits on steroids as soon as I start editing the document.
