You're referencing the normals / shading right? Weird. I'll look into it.

All right. Gonna do a normal check on my side to see if anything is wrong.

Nah, managed to replicate the issue, should be a simple fix. For now: CTRL-A -> "Apply Scale and Rotation to ObData"

All right that works. <3
I officially approve of this add-on. A lot.
Except the VCol for coloring. It's horrid to use those. That's my only actual complaint.
Also, is SIDE supposed to align based on brick rotation? It doesn't for me.

Hm, mind sharing why? I could see about adding the option to set colours through vertex groups, if that sounds any better.

Also, updated the file, redownload for the fix.

Nope, the game only aligns "TOP".

I see.
Regardless, it's because looking through the brick code, even if it's not noticeable in-game, for some reason the vertex painting was really unstable and while (mostly) everything was the full color that I wanted to, one was like 0.99998 or something like that. It would be much easier to somehow get the color straight from the material though.

Also ok regarding aligning, didn't notice other bricks do that too. I only looked at the actual "brick" bricks, which do change SIDE, but I suppose it's because they are BRICK and not SPECIAL.

First set of bricks with this thing. This is great, it opens gates to so many new possibilities.
Regarding their simplicity, I worked more over the fact of their usefulness, I often found myself wanting to use an octo brick but the only 1x1-ey ones from 1RandomPack are centered in a 2x2 for some reason (I mean really, why?).

Also, regarding your fix, what's up with the ridiculous file size change?

Haha, I thought you might point that out. Right now I'm working on getting the GUI in (and later rewriting a few things), so all that extra stuff is basically unfinished, commented-out code. I don't see the harm in leaving it in there seeing as anything new is basically non-functional.

It might be more sensible to just manage two versions but I've always been terribly unorganized :P

Haha, fair enough for me.
Also love the name easter-egg.

The brick is darker than other bricks. I have tried the CTRL-A trick, also checked normals. There are no VCols and in the .blb there is no defined COLOUR. Where did I go so wrong?

Can I see a comparison, and, if possible, the .blb file? It looks fine in the screenshot.

Right, my bad, I added no comparison. Stupid me.

Funny how at shadow it's fine.

Alright, looked into the .blb and I see what's wrong. It's a normals thing again. I'm going to make a fix soon, for now just use the old one and do the ol' ctrl-a trick.

Wait. What?
I did.
I did mention I did.
Wasn't your last one supposed to fix this anyway?

Alright, updated the file, tested it out, from what I saw in the .blb the normals were doing fine. Redownload and give it a try now.

Whenever I export a brick it enjoys floating mid air.

after offcentering the collision and bounds it works.
