is everyone missing the fact that the people would suffocate in the cubes? assuming there were people inside them, they wouldn't be able to scream for help unless they were very recently put inside the cube.

In extreme loneliness, having an emotional attachement to an inanimate object is an effective mechanism.

ya I think that most of them probably "don't give you advice" because they starved to death or died

the entire game is rightfully littered with these kinds of conspiracies; with a game like this you'd expect that to happen. the ratman foundation is probably the oddest part of the entire game though, and it kinda terrifies me.

Let's not forget that GLaDOS is very good at wasting resources. A good example is the emancipation proclamation grill.
