Island of miniature proportion

Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's been a while since the last time I posted a build on the forums and I wanted to make sure I did a good job. What I have to present to you all today is a miniature island that can be used for things like mini empires. I was inspired to do this based on a previous topic by Cuddles le Bear. Many suggestions were to implement terrain into their works and so I wanted to make a whole island that both looks nice and is functional. The product I have as of now consists of 1427 bricks, which 95% of it is default. The only non-default bricks were the tree stumps. It took about 3 hours total to complete the island. So without further waiting I present the pictures.

I really like that island. Here's an island I made about a year ago (Its not that good)

i dont see why the forget this has to be 1.4k bricks

did you use any 2x2, 4x4, 8x8 plates at all? or a 16x16, for that matter...

i used mostly 4x4's a few 2x2's not much larger than that. Most of the brick consumption is from the hills and edges of the island.

it seems like you could have conserved more but on second inspection i can't really find anything you can conserve more on, assuming you used large plates where you could. its just the copious amount of shoreline breakup and TREES.

the arches are what looked familiar.

The island is relatively plain and then you choose to make these gigantic and unrealistic arches that is higher than the mountains. P ugly and unoriginal to be honest. All people think about when making miniature stuff is to create landmarks that specify their island. "Ooo volcanoes are cool and let's make cool natural (yet unnatural) structures."
