Lava not hurting?

Sometimes the lava doesn't hurt me. How do I fix this?

It's likely an addon. Don't know what though.

After setting the lava, re-jump back into it. If that doesn't work, see if you downloaded the mod that makes a lava texture not hurt you but a water one will.
