Should I:

Leave the main structure of the song intact, and modify it a bit (or a bunch).
Redo the whole song (basic beat will stay).

Actually listening to it, it sounds really loving cool. Just diversify it a little, make it less repetitive. Anyone who says dissonance is bad needs to learn2music.

Come at me bro

I dare you

Cmon

(I don't think) anybody is saying dissonance is strictly bad, but there is "good" dissonance and "bad" dissonance. Certain genres/songs benefit from dissonance, but op's song happens to be one that does not benefit from it.
Now, of course, this is all just preferential, and there's no true "right" way to write music, but that's just my two cents.

All genres can benefit, as long as it is done right. Strictly dissonant music (as in no consonant notes) will sound very out of place, but any music that incorporates both dissonant and consonant notations can be cohesive.

I'm talking about the one synth that is like painfully split, not good/interesting chords or momentary dissonance
If you're talking about that, then I have no issue with that, though that is definitely not my kind of music. Apologies for being unclear.

So Far sounds a lot better, actually.

Although I might be bias because the intro reminds me of a game I played when I was a kid, and am suddenly overcome by nostalgia.

Doubt that was your intention, but if it was, 100% goal accomplished, haha.

It's a nice mix of dubstep, dark drum and bass with a hint of dubstep.

I like the use of stereo, and how it phases especially.

Thanks Kniaz. That kinda makes me feel better. I was kinda losing hope in my music making abilities, but I guess everyone has their down times...

Well, it's back to the drawing board then! Anyone who has listened to any of my music (not just the songs listed here) and likes it, stayed tuned! I will be making more, and I will try my best to improve!

Just to let everyone know (as I have not yet made this clear), I have virtually no musical training. All I've done is a couple of years of guitar, years ago (much of which is forgotten, sadly). This partially contributes to my lack of skill, ad I relearn what I knew back then, and learn new things as I continue.

Oh, and Kniaz, I, erm, totally was going for that nostalgia thing. *Cough* Intuition? *Cough*

But in all seriousness, glad you enjoyed it. Really all that matters to me is that I make someone happy with my music, and in addition to those here who like it, I have friends who back me up, too. Thanks to you guys and them, who knows? Maybe I'll end up making music professionally one day.
