The Snowstorm of 1888

A terrible snowstorm streching from New York City, Montipieler down to Washington D.C. and ending in Minneapolis, Minnesota had killed 400 People. Some people were confined in their houses for up to a week, Washington D.C. expressways were shut down and trains coming into Chicago were 8-12 hours late. Some people were lost and frozen to death as the storm lasted for a week. Lines were hung up around downtown Cleveland to protect snow from falling down. Chicago, New York City, Newark and Atlantic City school systems shut down for even 2 weeks after the storm was called safe. Several search teams were sent but only few found bodies, and most were frozen.
