Author Topic: I've been slowly going insane and I need help  (Read 10345 times)

You should ask them the capital of a random country and see if it's correct. :o
do this
i dont know why you would come to an internet gaming forum for mental help, seems like an incredibly bad idea, dont see the benefit of posting here. but honestly, go outside, do something, be social. by not doing things you are just giving yourself more time to dwell on whatever is getting to you. and i mean Swat may have a point, maybe try visiting a church or mosque or some sort of temple and talk to whatever religious figure is there. go to church this weekend, whatever. personally, im not religious but maybe thats the stability you need right now, even just talking to a priest or monk or whatever could help you out if you haven't tried it.

and im not a psychologist or a doctor obv, but all these morons talking about "talk to the voices maybe they want to be friends" seems like a horrible idea. trying to communicate with something that doesnt even exist/is the source of your insanity cant be good for you at all.
then do this
this is the only good real answer

Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?

Lock this topic, follow red's advice.
seriously, just, shut yourself off from the internet, and if you really can't stand it, use divine intervention.
i'm not religious, so i don't really know this might work, but for forgets sake man. do please just, go outside.

You're saying that there's nothing suspicious about the voices at all?

The guy at the meat n fish part of whole foods looks sketchy, that didn't stop me from trying the salmon.

Talk to someone personally instead of posting on the forums.

What's your steam?

Do you like hurting other people?

And this made you hear voices in your head that promised you everything?

don't listen to us, listen to the voices!
ahahah- but in all seriousness you should see a psychologist

Most Mental Illness is usually caused by stress

Is anything stressful happening in your life right now? More stressful than normal?

the voices you hear in your head is actually the forums

he had narrator mode on the entire time!

OP, I had the same problem as you. I stopped going insane when I moved.

"I've always been mad. I know I've been mad, like the most of us are. Very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad."

So, While I'm not questioning whether or not the things you are feeling are real experiences, I think that the medicine might be a placebo and that you may (even subconsciously) want to think you have a unique problem and that it can't be fixed.

Nothing against you of course, but if your mental state is that of one that could make this stuff up, there are lots of possibilities.

"I've always been mad. I know I've been mad, like the most of us are. Very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad."
I've been mad for loving years, absolutely years. I've been over the edge for yonks. Been working with bands so long, I think. Crikey...

The answer is incredibly simple. You need nature and peace. Get out in nature. Doesn't matter where you live, you'll find a meadow or woods anywhere you live. Drive an hour or two if necessary. Just sit for a while and observe nature. Literally, study the animals and leaves. Got a girlfriend or any close friends? If not, make some. Too afraid to make any any because of physical appearance? Start doing things that require physical effort, cleaning, lifting, running. Exercise. Exercising and eating good food gives you a kind of natural high. Move your bed to a different side of the room, change some things around. Get a cat. Take care of yourself. If any of those do not or do not apply to you, don't take offense; I'm just guessing.

But really, no medicine or therapy will help you here. You need natural medicine. Hope it helped. PM me if you have any other questions.
