Blockland needs a better community

I think the community is actually quite good.

The primary problem with this forum is that it is a major access point for much younger users that would otherwise not get involved with any sort of online communities for several years, due to the nature of the game itself.  Inject these younger users into any given online community and I don't need to tell you what comes next.
I think that compared to the vast majority of other communities, the blockland forum handles this quite well.

I dunno, this community can be good and bad. At times I really like this community, I've got a bunch of friends and a lot of laughs here. But at the same time there's a lot of times where this community rubs me and others the wrong way, more so than any other group of people.

There are quite a lot of really immature people on here. And I'm not just talking about the grammarless kids. I'm talking about the intolerant jerks and the people who are apathetic about everything

You're wrong, the community is great compared to other communuties.

The only two things wrong with it:  Many players can't build creatively or efficiently.
                                                People discriminate based on BL_IDs.

Not building well isn't a problem, if people don't want to devote their time to something like that I don't think it's exactly polluting the community
I'd say this is a pretty good community, besides drama board o' course

the forums (most of it) are pretty well maintained and very clean compared to most other forums

Couldn't agree more. Compared to other communities and forums, they're just awful.

I see everything here as more of a love/hate relationship that everybody has. People actually do get along, we just bust each other's balls all the time. People are just hostile when we have some new user, or the common idiot posting dumb stuff - and honestly, they deserve it and should know better.
