I am playing at Almonds' Mafia Madness server which is on the default build called "Mansion". I am the ventriloquist and he is an innocent. I kill someone upstairs in one of the rooms while nobody is looking. Not one person saw the killing except me, the person I was killing, and a fellow mafia member who was guarding the hallway that leads to the room I was in. I hide the body behind a bed in that room so it cannot be seen from the doorway. I go back downstairs to where everyone was gathered and suddenly Almonds, the host, comes through the front door, yells my name, then shoots me.
Then I ask him why he killed me...
He says that he is allowed to kill someone for suspecting they are mafia or because that player is acting suspiciously. You cannot do that. You need to have a clear reason that does not include guessing or "having a hunch". He doesn't even mention that I killed someone, because he didn't see the kill. So all he was going off of was "you were sspicous".
After that last line of chat where he says "yes you can!!!", I tell him again that he cannot kill me for suspicions, then I am banned for the following reason.
After 5 minutes, I rejoin and ask him again why he killed me and why he banned me just for telling him the rules. He doesn't answer, but about 30 seconds later he says this through the console:
I ask him why we can't talk about the rules and he responds with something along the lines of "You should already know the rules, you shouldn't have to ask about them." The irony.
Then he bans two people for using Skype (understandable). When someone asks him why they were banned, he calls that person a "dolt", and then defines the word as "an unintelligent person". More irony. I tell him that he doesn't know all of the rules himself and he responds with:
So basically, this guy doesn't know the rules of the server that HE is hosting. He admits to not knowing all of the rules and bans players, including me, for breaking rules that aren't even in the rule list. He also banned multiple people for complaining when in fact we were reporting rule-breakers, something totally different.
I even told him that I was trying to help him understand the rules, that's when he banned me for 5 minutes. When I came back, I told him again that I was trying to help, but he ignored me and made a stupid rule about how we can't ask questions ABOUT THE RULES, which is impossible to enforce because he said it through the console and people just joining wouldn't know that that is a rule.
So yeah, I wouldn't join this server. It's unorganized, the host doesn't know the rules and bans players who haven't read them, and he makes up his own rules when he is losing an argument.
