Author Topic: Why do people discriminate so much about races and gays?  (Read 4380 times)

Following my statements on DrenDran's topic about furries and bronies, I have to share my full rant on how critical discrimination is today. I know people have been judged of their beliefs and ethnicity since the dawn of time, but I've noticed that in today's time that gays and races are still being discriminated about who they are. I can understand if you're homophobic and don't like the thought of two men/women together, but I don't get how it's become a law in places that ban gay marriages. This begs the question of 'who the forget cares?'. I would say to put this law in  Same goes with ethnicity, I do understand if you hate blacks or whites because of slavery, family issues, or some other reason, but why judge them to the point of segregation to this day. I have an example relating to judging gays. One of my teachers happens to be a lesbian. If everyone in my school wasn't full of rumor starting whores, this would be fine. But no, my teacher has to hide the fact that she's a lesbian because if she didn't care, everyone would spread rumors and jokes to the point where it ruins her reputation and job. I really feel bad for her because she shouldn't have to hide her choice in life. Widely expressing discrimination of people because of the way they were born, or because of the way they choose to live their lives is loving handicapped.

i normally dont have a problem with black people. but every last one i ever see/hear is a complete jackass.
i think they love their own stereotypes, and work very hard to keep up with them.

Yeah, I find it ridiculous as well.

Misinformation, greed, selfishness, different ideologies, different beliefs, ignorance, and occasionaly to get into office is the answer to your question.

In order to bring peace or neutrality you have to let people see the error of their ways. Trying to force peace only brings more conflict.

Half the people who use "gay" as an insult is using it wrong, anyhow.

I mean, it would be nice for people to explain how an inanimated object is homoloveual.

A black friend of mine flips out when someone says a tribal joke, yet he finds it ok to constantly say "monday" whenever he can.

I hate how people use the word handicapped(slowed) or autistic as another word for stupid.

I love black people

everyone should own one

This thread is too serious for jokes.

Most of the people at my school discriminate because it's funny, not because they hate a race or loveuality.  For example, this kid (gay) in my english class did a dance performance for us and it was loving hilarious seeing this guy dance to a boy band song. It's hard for some people not to discriminate others because some stuff gays do is just weird to us. We don't hate them at all for it, it's just funny.

Look closely at the faces of these men. It make's you wonder.

Don't worry Trog, you still made me burst out laughing at 2am

not many people actually discriminate based on race anymore

all dummies, please take note, making jokes about race does not mean you are tribal
