Author Topic: Need help on which gaming pc to buy for this summer  (Read 3368 times)

Me and my mom decided that we were gonna buy a gaming PC for me this summer, since the last 2 laptops we bought were terrible for gaming. I found 2 good and cheap ones, but I can't decide between which. My mom can't really decide either.

Help me pick between these 2, and also give details on why it's better if you can please.
If you want to suggest something else, my mom said nothing higher than $600

The second one doesn't have a graphics card and is stuff

The first one looks better

Don't buy a computer, buy parts. If you're sure about it though, buy the former in the OP.

It is cheaper to build your own

this isnt true anymore. there are plenty prebuilds that use custom parts that are even cheaper then assembling comps yourself.

its been at least a decade for this guys. get with the program.

It is cheaper to build your own, but if you want to buy it whole. Buy the first one

He obviously doesn't want to build his own. Stop saying that guys.

If he posted in the mega thread, everyone would start a big ass argument.

It's true for low - mid end computers. But this just outright wrong for a higher end one. It's also usually cheaper to get a computer without the gpu and buy one yourself. Also any prebuilt from any big name like HP or whatever are most certainly more expensive. Even decently priced prebuilts usually skimp on quality parts.

there are 100s of places online to buy prebuilt comps made from custom. hp is a brand. we are talking about no name custom built here.
and yes, even very high end exist and are cheaper then building yourself. on at least 100 sites. including amazon and ebay stores.

first one seems the best for what you're doing, bottom one doesnt even have a graphics card
