Don't buy a computer, buy parts.
Yeah, but... just hear me out, BUT....

what if, he doesn't want to build one?

Then he can pay someone to build it

Isn't what buying a prebuild is for...?

there are 100s of places online to buy prebuilt comps made from custom. hp is a brand. we are talking about no name custom built here.
and yes, even very high end exist and are cheaper then building yourself. on at least 100 sites. including amazon and ebay stores.

So are people charging nothing for time and labor? I understand you can buy parts in bulk but if you're a no name computer builder you're not getting that much of an amazing discount. I'm not saying prebuilt is bad but it's never going to be a great deal cheaper than the parts.

Except you can buy custom parts pay someone to put it together and depending on what you bought it might be better.

Smaller retailers are often part of buying groups that have the buying power of main manufacturers, I really doubt building your own computer is cheaper anymore. Not that I know anything anyway, get a mac.

get a mac.
ohohoasoed oh god jses oh jesus hahhahahehah

get a mac.
I went ahead and looked at the most powerful line-up of macs, the Mac Pros. The most powerful one has an ATI Radeon HD 5870, which is outdated by four loving years.
