Fox hats aren't made with real fur anymore and the typical gringo hat is the raccoon tail. Not a fox tail. Anyways, a fox hat can bet reused to start your barbecue's fire or to make a blanket, as a pillow, etc.

Here we refer to US citizens as "gringo" and the insultive term being "yankie". I didn't realize it had a second meaning in other countries.
