Except that ones special interestes/research appeal isn't really dictated (Hehe richard~) by logic. Its whatever you get a stiffy from. If you get a boner from furry feral research but not real animal research, then that's just how it works lol. How your wang knows the difference between the two remains to be heard, the point is that it if it does, you can't really say it shouldn't.

There's more to anthro than being bipedal: human-like intelligence, speech capability, etc.
And if you want to get into love-specific traits (since this is where this discussion is already going): love for pleasure, as opposed to just procreation, as most animals do.
