I see this on dA a lot and I find it just too time consuming to thank every friggin person that favorites or likes my work. In most cases the person is just scrolling through images liking stuff as they go.

edit: oh god I just thought about it and that looks really similar to a female version of my character
cause I even said before mine would have Orange eyes too

like kingdaro said they probably just want to put their name on everyones profile so they can be more noticed cause TBH, if you aren't a really good artist on there, its hard to get any attention towards you.
