Not quite. When the image is brand new (was posted an hour or two ago), the internet hasn't had time to acknowledge its existence, therefore almost no records for it exist at that time. You'd have to wait almost a day to find a match, and even then, it may not lead directly back to the artist's FA or Tumblr, and even more hunting down is required.

But again, it doesn't seem like anyone really cares, so it's not a problem.
