Why not? There's a lot I learned just in school art classes that I forgot, that came back to haunt me that I didn't do, that I do now. Learning it in a school/lesson environment is good.

So, I'm going to start posting some "Progress drawings" as an OT kinda thing jsut to get some opinions on my work, won't be furry related drawings until I get some lessons.

Please don't expect anyone's advice or teachings to cause your art to be leaps and bounds better in quality each lesson. There aren't magic tricks or shortcuts to making art look better. The only way you make your own art better is by stufftons of practice. You will notice a difference just over a year, though.
