somewhere in that helmet is a battery that can store 40 days worth of energy for several appliances, including a display and video camera
we currently have 1TB drives that are about the size of your hand, and by the time we have such batteries, it would be easy to assume we also have much better storage technology, as well as much more space-efficient recording technology

just, personally, if I was going to make something futuristic, I would go all out

I was trying to make it sorta modern but not really

like carbon fibre and Kevlar exist IRL and laser things exist too, the holographic goggles not so much but they're fairly primitive (only slightly different to how you make holographic sights work)

The battery's probably the size of a smartphone
