i'm not trying to justify his wanting a fox but my dog is generally very easy to take care of/feed/clean up after
the only hard part is dealing with his loving terrible skin condition which causes scabbing all over his body and flakes off very easily

this one guy one youtube who has a pet fox (probably the most known) has like a full outdoor enclosure, with fences at every angle, including ground and ceiling, because it'll dig and climb out, and you can't keep it inside cuz it'll destroy the place
