my main point was mostly that there is an easily distinguishable line between reality and fiction and some people can't see it
sadomasochism? fake/false/fictional torture on willing participants. some people, like radical feminists, wanted bdsm to be banned because they couldn't see the difference between this and actual torture.
i believe this this idea of some fictional special interestes translating into real world desires is propagated because of some people who lack self control, are forgeted in the head, or just have no understanding of decency when their fiction starts pouring into their reality kind of like child predators, practicing zoophiliacs, and people like arwin meiwes
