OT: some dragons have fur, some dont.
some have feathers (on the wings), and some dont. it just depends on their owners like

only one dragon i know has feathers, and that is TwilightSaint on FA

i dont see a problem with changing your avatar but sometimes it confuses people. we use avatars as a way to quickly identify people, but when you change the avatar someone may think they are talking to someone else.
