Then why do you continue to wear a label with such a bad rep? Furry has connotations to it that you're embracing. You're willingly taking the same label that the majority of society reserves for people who have group love in mascot costumes or fap to borderline-bestiality.

If someone's a furry, whoop-dee-loving-doo. Yeah, they have love in animal costumes with other people who want to be forgeted by someone in an animal costume. They'll admit to being a furry and they'll have their weird furry stuff posted on some weird furry forum where nobody else has to see it. What they won't do, is make a thread on an entirely unrelated forum and tell everyone "no, we're not weird, we're just creepy teenagers obsessed with 'anthro art,' we're not like those other furries."

The entire fandom is 18+ content and being accessed by creepy forever-alone teenagers with acne.
