During the beginning of watching The LEGO Movie in a theater, a kid behind me said "Is that Minecraft!?"
I cringed, having played with real LEGO long before the rise of Minecraft, but I couldn't blame him.

there's actually some very sound logic as to why for example, pewdiepie's videos are promoted so much compared to other videos and why his fame hasn't died out yet. This promotion gets him more views, and the views get him more promotion. The cycle feeds itself and it repeats.

Also, there ARE two big things wrong with the game: It's made in frickin java (The game would run on the order of 3x faster on all machines if it was made in a language like c++) and there's no native mod support.
