I honestly wouldn't mind these kinds of people if they weren't so uptight about it.
Like, some of these people freak out over being called the wrong pronouns and I just can't help but wish that they would understand that not everyone is quick to take to this whole idea of gender fluidity and that not everyone will probably ever fully understand it.
For example, I have no idea what that's like. I'm a guy and am confident in this fact, so I guess I can't relate to them and whatnot. While I still acknowledge that there may be lots of people out there who believe they are genderless, I just can't comprehend what that would be like and I have no way of knowing if it's a genuine thing or if it happens to be a mass plea for attention.
However, I would still respect their beliefs, no matter how foreign to me, as long as they understand that I might make a mistake referring to them here and there, such as with their picky pronouns, and to not bite my head off for it the first time I'm meeting them. Because that has happened to me before and I felt bad afterwards and nobody needs that.
