To be honest, i've kind-of noticed something, and let me note I used to be a brony but I grew very bored of the show and stopped watching it, this was probably about last year.
I will also say that I joined in 2011, 1 year after the MLP:FiM show aired, but whenever I was slightly still new, I saw the MLP:FiM topic being created, and the first posts in it and all, and I decided I liked the show too and joined it, but soon after hate topics were made on it, most likely trolling them, and I noticed they would attack back, and then serious hate topics were made, and it ended up into a full-out war against both haters and bronies, to be honest I think the reason was because the bronies attacked the hater topics and ended up sparking a flame battle between haters and bronies, and I will sadly admit that I was one of those who attacked the hater topics as well, and soon after the large battles, there was some topic called the "Glorious Pony Revolution" that ended up taking a communistic theme, and i'll admit that I joined it, but couldn't join any of the battles because I didn't have the right games, but anyways, I also noticed that once the battles calmed down, something like a small troll topic would spark another large battle, and everyone began to attack eachother again, blaming one-another for suggestive images and trying anything to get one another banned like admittance to trolling, or adult content pony pictures, or anything like those, and again, I sadly admit, I was one of the attackers, being the brony I was I attacked the hate topics with others, but now I believe that's enough to say, I won't talk about the thousand other hate topics and organizations.
Anyways, moving on, again, I joined in March 2011, and I haven't seen whenever the furries first joined the forums, but I was a furry at the time as well, I saw interest into it and creativity, but anyways I did see a furry megatopic be made that lived up to about 60 pages before being locked, and I remember being the national socialist-10-year-old I was, I admit sadly, I posted furry national socialist images in there, and I greatly apologize. But I noticed that, while still being hated on, not much of them really fought back, instead they ended up just saying things like "ok" and then moving on, rather than not attacking, I don't know if this was because they were around longer or not, but still, i'm pretty sure they received hate when they arrived first but they didn't really seem to be as aggressive as bronies, while having their similarities, both enjoy animals with personifications, but don't think i'm only going off the forums. Before I came to the forums, I remember seeing some image board, I can't remember if it was 4chan or something, but I remember some conflict between furries and haters, but again, it seemed like the furries didn't really care, and just went on with their business, while about two or three of them on that board attacked the haters, but most of the others just went on with their day.
As an end, I will say that I may be wrong on some things in this post, and please do not hate on me or make drama topics about me or something like "OMG YOU hATE BRONIES", no I do NOT hate bronies, but i'm neutral with both sides, but I just know i'm bound to join one again in the future.
Again, if you didn't read all of that, read it my god. I do not hate furries or bronies, nor am I judging any of them for what they like, if it's what they like, they like it.
