6/10

the exterior is very cute but the interior is really bland and not lit.
rooms usually seem to have more than 1 piece of furniture in it!!

The round 1x1 wall idea is a bad one and you should stop using it. :)

More territory around this house, and... maybe light(s) inside him? so 8\10

I wasn't too happy with the furniture, but the space to work with was very small. About 8x8 if you take out room for the ladder and door to open. In terms of lighting, I might take another screenshot with the lamp on.

I don't often use it. I just wanted to see if the technique could be transfered into BL from some Lego MOCs I have seen with it. Perhaps the screenshots don't show it very well, but it does create a good rough stone wall texture, moreso with the larger bricks dotted round.
Unless you mean don't use it because of brickcount, because the little house alone was like 1000 bricks.

I rarely think about brickcount however I guess that can be a reason too in certain cases. From what I can see the technique looks bad and thus I advice you to try something different. I understand what you try to pull off but I don't think that it is possible to create something fairly good looking with these bricks.

Taken constructive critisizm into account. Put more furniture upstairs and light downstairs. See OP for new pictures.
Also got carried away and built another house. Will post pictures tommorow

It's not that bad, the round wall thing isn't the best but the house itself is cute

Very nice and compact!

8/10.

Make it a little bit bigger.

Add some emitters, too.

Made a bigger house + some more scenery

Also made a comparison of 1x1s with other things
