My dog died

So, my dog, about 2 months ago started acting weird, like drinking LOTS of water. Well, on friday we took her for a walk, and at about halfway, she stopped and looked at me. so i picked her and carried  her home, so we took her to the vet. They said diabetes, and several other things, so we loved on her saturday night. we expected her to die that night, but she was ok the next day. So we left for an ATV ride and came back and she was dead
