We have these blocks for research and stuff and if you download "hotspot" it basically its a.proxy and we just forget around on research sites and stuff.

My school's (well not any more because I graduated) internet is usless. They block anything and everything.

Some of my favorite blocks are "Gay Content", "Religious Content", and "Friendship Content"

Literally. Some sites you cannot go to because "This site contains Friendship content"

I can relate. This is, of course, not to mention that some of the worst sites, including Encyclopaedia Dramatica, and 7chan, which both have incredibly explicit content, are not blocked. My school doesn't seem to block religious and "gay" content, but they do want to block and filter anything remotely fun.

my school has two separate networks. north side network and south side network. unplugging one side will just piss people off so they have to use the other side.
