there are plenty of people who own computers much more powerful.

by plenty id guess around 10% or less of gamers own computers more powerful than the ps4

Okay what if you go to let's say florida for a day? You're forgeted.
lets say you did, why the forget are you bringing a console with you to begin with

only for like 6 months.  the fact that the GPU market keeps moving forward with no brakes means that eventually the GPU in the PS4 (a custom one that's relatively near the radeon HD 7000 series) will get outdated.  it might keep up for sure, but for the next year or two expect PCs to be just around their neighborhood, but still above.

normal ram is ddr3
the ram you usually have in a video card is ddr5, WAY loving faster than ddr3
yeah I'm aware

I've never seen a stick of DDR5 ram

Exactly. Xbox expects us to use their console everyday or else.

Meanwhile Mirror's Edge 2
Available when it's ready
that has got to be the best release date ever, with absolutely no sarcasm

on topic: I'd sooner invest my money in a new computer than a new console

My friend said Xbox One was the stuff.

Lol, this is cute.

Punch your friend directly in the throat, please.

@ $500 i'd rather take a little time and build a pc
i mean it might be a little worse in the games department but look at all the other stuff i can do

source or its bs.
You obviously didn't watch the Sony conference

Amazing how the Wii U hasn't been mentioned. Nintendo has been severely under-appreciated lately. Even when they're extending/rebooting old franchises, they've still got a lot of neat ideas up their sleeves.

If I get one it'll be the PS4, Xbox appears to be going to stuff.

If I went for a new console, it would have to be the Wii U, for a few reasons:
1. I've never cared for Playstations, and the PS4 isn't all that different from the PS3, just upgraded equipment.
2. The Xbox One's everything is stupid and overpriced.
3. You can't get Zelda on Xbox or Playstation.
