This shows something possible with the new Physics Framework I am working on.

It seems like people are making more and more add-ons whose point is to make the game more unplayable at higher latency. This is Blockland, not Team Fortress 2.
Regardless, it could have potential in singleplayer gamemodes or LAN play.

this is going to suck above 200 ping

I can't tell what's going on from the pictures. Did the guy with the gun fall over and then shoot?

it looks like he was jumping and falling with vehicle physics while shooting

He dove sideways while shooting.

Expert.
everything starts going buggy and unresponsive above 200 ping from personal experience

Some of the nice things about Blockland are that you can do whatever you want, you can host your own servers, and you don't have to join certain servers. Why should people who are close together and have low latency amongst themselves sacrifice their features so that they can be more inclusive of people far away? Especially considering that the number of players and servers are growing. It isn't like not being able to play at once decent server is going to end the Blockland experience.

^ ^ this,
If you prefer I offer hosting under 50 ping for $99.99 a month.

Please say where I stated that this would be a bad thing for people who are "close together and have low latency amongst themselves". I simply pointed out that anything to do with dynamically creating vehicles in addition to using user interaction during it would be very problematic to deal with at high latency.

The ping has very little to do with the server at all.

You never said it directly, but first you posed a very cynical attitude by saying its sole purpose was to make the game unplayable at high latency. Then you mentioned where it could be useful and happened to forget to mention Internet play, close or otherwise, which I can't imagine was an accidental thing.

You came off as if it was a bad thing in general, with a few exceptions, and I thought it was a good thing in general, so I fought for it.

wtf, I hope this is a joke, I can get like 40 ping off an rtb server along with the benefits of the fact that its ran by an administrator and its got a sleek interference, you can also pay for kalphiter's servers which are just as fast and thats only like 6 bucks a month
