Author Topic: Banned from Ravencroft's server for "possible server attack"  (Read 1956 times)

This is ridiculous. Let me explain.
I was on ravencroft's server, just playing falling plates, and we thought someone had ddosed the server, because it lagged alot.
Well, we were all joking about it and stuff, and I made this one joke that said "I AM HACKING! *pukes* because hacking could also be slang for puking.
Well, apparently ravencroft was mad at something and permanetly banned me for it.
I IRC'd him on RTB trying to explain, and all he did was say "forget you" and blocked me.
I can't believe I was blamed for someone else's actions and banned without any proof.
And it was a permanent ban. I loved that server. I played there everyday. It was extremely fun.
If anyone understands me, I would really like to be unbanned.

You really lacked a better choice of words in a situation like that?

You're not getting unbanned until Cowboy(Host) or someone gets these server attacks figured out. I can't tell if you're joking in those chats or not.

you're prob gonna get revoked
bye

He had every right to ban you. I'd be paranoid as well if somebody was DDosing my server and then some asshat comes in saying " lul i haked u"

On another note, "hacking" doesn't refer to puking, it refers to a dry cough. Just saying, for the future when you go around saying you're "hacking".

A dry cough or a solid regurgitation, if "hacking up a hairball" is gramatically correct.

Not that it's a big deal, but technically when you say "hacking up a hairball" you are using "hacking" as a synonym for "coughing", like "coughing up a hairball", and "coughing up a hairball" is the same thing as "puking" in general, but inserting "coughing up a..." as the word "puking". Like I said, this doesn't matter in the slightest, but grammatically, "puking" is the replacement for "hacking up a...", not just "hacking". Ok Im done.

Not that it's a big deal
Then don't make it one.

Ontopic; Didn't someone even say the IP that was flooding the server was yours?

siba he's banned already.

Proof?
Oh wow.  Ok.  So when people say "gee, <something>" they are almost always being sarcastic.  He was not apologizing legitimately, he was apologizing sarcastically to emphasize how unreasonable the abuse was.  Hope this tip helps you during your stay on planet earth.

On topic: setro is now banned.  This isn't even the first time he has done something like this.
