Someone shot my cat with a paintball gun.

I went outside just now to let my cat in before it rains and she's covered in blue spots and the shell of a couple paintballs.
I want to find out who did this and punch them in the face. She's limping on 1 leg and has a swollen ear. I also can't tell my parents atm because they're asleep and say something like,
"What do you want me to do about it?". It makes me feel terrible to see my cat that I've had since I was 2 badly hurt and limping. If it gets worse we might have to take her to the Vet.

I can't press charges on anyone unless I found out who did it, Or someone else does.
A lot of people on my street have paintball guns.
