I highly doubt that bud.

What are you highly doubting? There is a way to steal models from any server you go to. Eepos did that and posted them on thr forums.

theres no longer any reason to argue about the trees and their privacy. certain players have control over them now and can do what they please with them, plus there isnt really anything you or anyone else can do to stop that

even if you managed to keep the add-on to yourself, that would deem you a wee bit selfish

its better to have the community side with the trees and the benefits that they provide (aesthetics and all)
and use them, than to rebel

Yay finally a good looking RPG. There hasn't been a good one since bluzone and this looks even better than that.

The build is looking awfully tasty if I do say so myself.

i seasoned it myself  :cookieMonster:

okay this is a bump because im starting progress again.

i was addicted to mount and blade for a while but i've beaten it and progress will resume as normal.

Weren't the people who made WarZ/Infection: Survival Stories the same people who made Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing? Or am I just putting the wrong 2 together...

I highly doubt that bud.
Eepos actually stole some of Elm's stuff and also Gravity Cat's.

Yeah, there are a ton of these on Blockland. We are aiming for a quality one, though.
this is pretty obnoxious
the build doesn't look that great, the terrain is cubecaped, and it sounds annoying as hell to have to jump up every brick
not to mention you are using elm's trees which look horrible put on brick terrain, make your own trees, it looks a lot better

honestly most of the SPO stuff looks great, i don't know why you'd do something like this
the buildings look fine but I don't know how you plan to be better than DayB

None of these things host publicly. They are always developing behind closed doors (because they don't want people to know that they don't actually have a mod) and always set expectations higher than they can achieve. I think it would've been better to have done something original.

Also, I can't imagine zombies traversing this terrain well.

this is your opinion and you are obviously the only one to have this opinion.

most people i've talked to about this say that they love the build and think that the trees really fit it.
we never said we planned to be better than dayB, i dont know where you are getting that from. just because i said were making a good one doesnt mean i said dayB is bad.
you took what i said the wrong way.
and what made you think we arent going to host publically?
we will once the mod is done and we have room to breathe to add modifications at our own pace.

Now I'm less-pissed off and I obviously judged his harshly.

When I say host publicly, I mean before the modification is finished. Nobody has played on DayB or Swords of the North because they didn't want to host betas because they weren't finished.
When I say be better than DayB, I mean why would someone go to this over DayB.

The terrain is actually pretty nice (Although done on a grid) but I tend to have a huge grudge against cubescape.
It looks alright.

i did cubescape because it can be done at large scale with an efficient brick count.
on our red block redemption, that small map was 40K bricks alone, but we did detailed brickscape. this map is 3x the size and 1/3 of the brick count so far.
a lot of our members can do cubescape and have it look decent. in fact, peggworth the pirate is making an rpg NAMED cubescape.

If anyone uses cubescape, I personally think they should do it freestyle.
It gives a lot more freedom and makes the world look a lot better than being on a grid.

bump; progress is still being made. infact, we've made 3 houses in the past 2 days!

Ahhh, whenever I click on this topic I keep thinking it's some sort of gravestone smashing minigame server.
