For all we know, he could have dozens of updates ready, but slowly release them to look like he works on the game every day

That's what I would do if I made a game. Make alot of updates then slowly release them XD

It's better to get bug fixes first, than start bombing the game with new features and items and such.
Just like Gmod, and it seems to be effective.
