Why do both my earbuds and my computer play sound at the same time?

ok I just noticed a strange problem, My earbuds play sound fine but sound comes out through the normal computer speakers too at the same volume, Can someone please help me?

nvm I fixed it by just unplugging and plugging it back in,

It was obviously not plugged in all the way my bad
