Author Topic: Good methods on long range, but default music bricks..?  (Read 818 times)

I've been building this yacht for about 4 months, and I plan on getting it done sometime next month. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions on the horn - I found a horn sound effect and used it on the ship, it sounded fine but, the long range music bricks crashed the server for whatever reason (nevermind). If I spread the default music bricks around the yacht, it'll sound wonky and update each one off set. Any suggestions..?

if its just like a short sound you can use a wav, and play it 2d for everyone, but if its long or a big file you don't want to bog players down with really large files

The total file is maybe, 6 seconds long. Not that much.

would need to make it a sound, and then you would need a little bit of code or the 2d sound event

Long Range Music bricks Crashing bug was fixed last update. It and the short range music bricks had an issue with when you changed the music via events and then tried to save. The error was resolved
