So im in Bellingham for Advanced Business Week becsuse I attended the normal program last year. Im on my second day and I already feel left out. I did the talent show last year and sang, and it was different than what people were used to hearing. I have a bass voice and it really wow'd the crowd. This year I met a group of guys who can sing, so I talked to them and we got along. We start singing, and these guys are just amazing. They all have perfect voices, while mine was low and different. As we kept going, they slowly ignored me and left me out. They then asked another guy to join them, so I just walked off back to my room. Now im here, pretty sad with no one to talk to except texting my dad. I met this girl here too and we talked a lot, and I planned on making a move at some point. This just loving nuked my confidence and self esteem

You act like a deep voice is a bad thing to have.
People play different roles in groups. You don't have to be an acapella group where you only sing the bottom parts. By the way, I know that even if you can't sing high, you can sing at medium range, so that's no reason for them not to give you parts.

You could either forget them or call them out on it (kindly) and ask if you can join back with them. They'll probably think you're ridiculous and could've joined at any time you'd like, but yeah.

Just finished talking to my dad and a friend. Feeling a lot better, but I dont really plan on talking to those guys about this, so im just gonna let it slide. Im just gonna focus on chillin with my group and seeing how things go with this girl im talking to a lot.
